My name is Courtney, but everyone calls me Coco. I am a 2022 graduate of Elon University, where I earned a degree in Communication Design and Strategic Communications.
My design approach is bold, vibrant, and intentional—I strive to create strong visual identities that combine striking color with polished layouts, whether in editorial spreads or product design. My goal is always to produce work that is both meaningful and memorable.
Over the past few years, I’ve traveled the world, seeking out new perspectives on culture, mindfulness, and creativity. Along the way, I launched a micro-sourdough business, Coco’s Dough, and explored opportunities that blended art, community, and hands-on learning.
I lived in Hilo, Hawai‘i for nearly two years, working as a Program Guide at Pacific Quest, a residential therapy program for adolescents and young adults. This role strengthened both my leadership and collaboration skills, as I guided a high-acuity population while supporting and managing a team of peers. Later, I worked at Honomu Goat Dairy, where I cared for baby goats, supported daily farm operations, promoted local dairy products, and shared my creative work through watercolor paintings and sourdough bread.
My journey continued abroad: I completed yoga teacher training in Ubud, Bali, and trekked Nepal’s Annapurna Circuit for 14 days.
Most recently, I spent time in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, working as the Assistant to the Executive Director at the Steamboat Art Museum. There, I contributed to both creative and administrative projects in support of the museum’s mission. While in Steamboat, I also taught at a local yoga studio, Love, Yoga, where I led a weekly class that fostered mindfulness, movement, and community.
